Hi friends, and welcome back to my blog! Whether you’re here because you saw the video or just stumbled in looking for some NYC inspiration—I’m so glad you’re here.
If you’ve been around for a while, you already know that New York Fashion Week is one of my favorite times of the year. I’ve been lucky enough to attend it for several seasons now, and it never gets old. There’s something about the buzz of the city, the creativity of the shows, and the energy in the streets that just makes it feel magical—chaotic, exhausting, unpredictable magic.
In today’s post, I’m taking you along with me for the ride: outfit breakdowns, show highlights, behind-the-scenes chaos, and the moments that never quite make it to Instagram. And, of course, the full vlog is here too if you’d rather watch it all unfold:

Day One: Easing Into the Madness
📅 Thursday, September 8th
Ah, the calm before the storm.
Fashion Week technically “starts” on Friday—but if you know, you know: events start trickling in a day or two earlier, and honestly, I count it from whatever day my calendar starts filling up. Which means: welcome to day one.
My first look of the week was a simple but elegant long black dress by Everlane—a staple I always feel good in. Jewelry was a mix of Mejuri and Catbird (forever faves), and my shoes were trusty Dr. Martens because yes, I knew I’d be walking a lot. Also… pink Barbie bag. Enough said.
I met up with two of my favorite fellow Argentinas in NYC—Agustina (her first Fashion Week!) and Lessie, who you’ve seen on my channel before. We grabbed lunch, caffeinated, caught up, and headed to our first presentation of the week. A chill but very fun day. It’s always a good sign when Fashion Week starts off with friends and food.
Day Two: The Real Kickoff
📅 Friday, September 9th
Now this was the official first day. My energy? ✨ Elevated. My outfit? Colorful and bold.
I wore a vibrant printed dress by Chi Chi London (I love a statement moment) paired with shoes from the Katy Perry Collection—they’re three-toned, surprisingly comfortable, and SO fun. My bag? A small gem from an Argentine brand I’ve had for seven years now. The kind of item that sparks conversation with other Latinas every single time I wear it.
This was one of those Fashion Week days that felt exactly how it looks in montages. Events back-to-back, a full city day, and endless outfit compliments from strangers (best part). I got to see some really interesting presentations, and I always love spotting trends before they hit the mainstream. You know I’ll be reporting back on that soon.
Day Three: Heat, Hair Extensions & High Fashion
📅 Saturday, September 10th
Okay. Real talk? By Day Three, I was tired. My feet hurt. My iced coffee budget was rapidly expanding. But I was also having so much fun I didn’t even care.
The weather was wildly hot for September—30°C (aka about 86°F), which felt intense in the city. But I came prepared with a cute black-and-white dress from Kate Spade, plus sandals, a green bag, and my trusty bubble ponytail. (Yes, that was added hair. Yes, it made me feel 1000x more put together.)
I had three big events lined up that day, starting with the Son Jung Wan show. It’s a designer I’ve been following for years, and their presentations always have a kind of ethereal, architectural beauty I really admire. Later, I hopped over to a few more shows and presentations—and I’ll be honest, I barely had time to eat, but somehow I still made space for a chocolate croissant. Balance.
So… What’s It Really Like Attending NYFW?
Here’s the thing: Fashion Week is incredible. It’s inspiring and beautiful and sometimes even emotional. But it’s also a lot—mentally, physically, and logistically.
You’re running between venues, navigating last-minute schedule changes, and trying to capture content while staying present. It can be exhausting, especially when you’re doing it as a content creator with no team behind you. But would I trade it? Never.
Every season, I meet someone new, discover a new brand, or feel a fresh spark of creative inspiration that reminds me why I do what I do. That makes it worth it.
If You’re a Blogger or Creator Wondering How to Attend…
I’ve actually made a full video all about how to attend New York Fashion Week as a content creator, blogger, influencer, or YouTuber, which includes all my tips—who to email, what to include in your pitch, when to start prepping, and more. If you’re dreaming of going next season, I highly recommend watching it!

Final Thoughts
NYFW is a whirlwind, but it’s also one of the most creatively exciting weeks of the year for me. And as a pregnant content creator this season (!!), I’ll admit, I was a little nervous about how I’d handle the long days. But honestly? I felt really empowered—and comfortable making space for both my career and my growing baby bump.
If you’ve ever dreamed of going to Fashion Week, let this be your sign. It’s more accessible than people think, and yes—you absolutely belong there.
Thanks for coming along with me, for reading this far, and for being part of this wonderful little community. Whether you’re here for the fashion, the city, the creator tips, or just the chaos—I appreciate you.
See you next week with another video (and blog post, of course). 💛
Love,
Flor.
