Time for a 📖 𝙉𝙀𝙒 𝘽𝙊𝙊𝙆 𝙍𝙀𝙑𝙄𝙀𝙒 📖 and today we are talking about «𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬» by 𝐆𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐥𝐲𝐧𝐧.⠀

Libby was 7 years old when her mother and sisters were murdered in “The Satan Sacrifice of Kinnakee, Kansas.”⠀
She survived and testified that her brother, Ben, was the killer.⠀

Many years later, the Kill Club (a secret society obsessed with notorious crimes) locates Libby and want to talk to her. They hope to discover proof that may free Ben.⠀
Libby, on the other hand, hopes to turn a profit off her tragic history: she’ll dig into what happened that night, but for a fee.⠀

The story follows Libby as she searches for the truth… although it might be something she’d rather left undiscovered…⠀

Although I really like what Gillian Flynn creates (I enjoyed the book Gone Girl and the TV show Sharp Objects) this book was definitely not my favorite.⠀
At times a bit too predictable and then at some other times it really didn’t make sense at all 🙃⠀

But hey, it is still one of the 15 books I’ve read this year so far so… I might as well review it, right? Haha⠀

La historia del libro sigue a Libby mientras busca la verdad… aunque podría ser algo qué tal vez preferiría no descubrir…⠀
Aunque realmente me gusta lo que crea Gillian Flynn (disfruté el libro Gone Girl y la serie Sharp Objects) este libro definitivamente no fue mi favorito.
De a ratos demasiado predecible y en otros momentos realmente no tenía sentido en absoluto 🙃
Pero bueno, es uno de los 15 libros que leí este año así que tenía que incluir la reseña, ¿no? Jajaja
De todos modos: si les gusta el thriller y el suspenso, leanlo y cuéntenme después que les pareció. A mucha gente le gustó más que a mi.
