Hey friends! ☕️
I’ve been thinking a lot about how quickly time passes and how easy it is to let another year slip by without intentionality. That’s why I decided to do something I’ve never done before in my 15 years of creating content online—I’m sharing ALL of my goals for 2025, in detail, with you.
Consider this blog post (and the accompanying video) a coffee chat between friends. Imagine us sitting at a park on a picnic blanket, or curled up on a sofa, sharing our hopes and dreams for the year ahead. I’m opening up about my personal and professional aspirations, what I’ve learned from past goal-setting experiences, and how I plan to make this year different.
I’d love to know your 2025 goals too! Share them in the comments below so we can support each other throughout the year.
Why I’m Sharing My Goals Publicly
There’s something powerful about stating your intentions out loud. When we keep our goals private, it’s easy to let them slide or forget about them altogether. By sharing mine with you, I’m creating accountability—not just with myself, but with this amazing community we’ve built together.
Plus, I genuinely believe that being transparent about our goals, struggles, and growth processes can inspire others. If even one person reads this post and feels motivated to write down their own goals, I’ll consider this a success.
My Goal Categories for 2025
This year, I’ve organized my goals into ten different categories to ensure I’m nurturing every aspect of my life. Because let’s be honest—success isn’t just about career achievements or financial milestones. It’s about creating a well-rounded life that feels fulfilling in all areas.
Here are my categories:
- Academic
- Content Creation
- Family
- Finance
- Friends
- Health
- Home
- Leisure
- New Business
- Personal
Let’s dive into each one!
Academic Goals
Maintain a Duolingo streak in German 🇩🇪
After living in Munich for two years (2019-2021), I developed an unexpected appreciation for the German language. While I initially found it challenging, I’ve grown to enjoy seeing how the words make sense and everything falls into place as I learn more.
Will being bilingual dramatically change my life? Maybe not. But there’s something satisfying about continuously improving at something just for the joy of learning. I’ve been practicing daily for over a year now, and I plan to keep that momentum going throughout 2025.
Content Creation Goals
As a content creator, this is naturally where many of my goals are focused, since it’s both my passion and my primary source of income.
Reach 4,000 YouTube subscribers 📈
Last year, I gained about 500 subscribers, growing from 2,500 to 3,000. My goal this year is to double that growth! Is it ambitious? Yes. Is it possible? Absolutely.
I’ve learned that subscriber count isn’t completely within my control—but creating consistent, high-quality content is. Which leads me to my next goal…
Post 25 videos on YouTube 🎥
With 52 weeks in a year, this means roughly one video every two weeks, which feels achievable while still maintaining the quality standards I set for myself. I don’t want to upload content just to hit a number—every video I share should be something I’m genuinely proud of and excited about.
Partner with brands that align with my values ✨
Specifically, I’m hoping to work with high-end brands (particularly their clothing and handbag divisions rather than just fragrances), kids brands, cruises, hotels, and airlines. While I’ve had gifting opportunities with some of these categories, I’d love to develop deeper, paid partnerships with brands whose products I genuinely love and already talk about.
Post consistently on Instagram 📱
My goal is to share at least three posts weekly, whether feed posts or reels. Last year, I noticed I’d go through phases of posting multiple times daily, followed by weeks of silence. This inconsistency isn’t ideal for connecting with my audience or showcasing my work to potential brand partners.
I also found myself experiencing «posting anxiety,» where I felt each post needed to be monumental or perfect. This year, I want to take some of that pressure off and share more casual, everyday moments alongside my more curated content.
Achieve specific income goals 💰
While I’m not sharing the exact numbers here, I have specific targets for my overall content creation earnings and YouTube AdSense revenue. I’ve reached similar numbers in previous years, so these goals feel challenging yet attainable.
Work on a specific number of paid partnerships 🤝
Brand partnerships constitute the bulk of my income, making it possible for me to create free content across all my platforms. I’ve set a slightly lower target than last year (since I didn’t hit that goal), but I’m still focusing my energy on securing meaningful partnerships.
Quick reminder: If you love any creator’s content (mine or anyone else’s), please support their paid partnerships by liking, commenting, and engaging with those posts! Those collaborations are what enable creators to produce all the free content you enjoy.
Launch my Lightroom filter pack 🌈
This is a project I’ve been working on for about five years now. It’s 90% complete, but I’ve never finished the final step—creating a PDF guide to accompany the filters. This goal is less about making money and more about seeing a long-term project through to completion. Every year I think about this unfinished project, and every year a part of me feels like a failure for not completing it.
Not this year! 2025 is when these filters will finally see the light of day.
Family Goals
Quality time with Julia (12 mom-daughter dates) 👧
As a mom to a two-year-old, I’m acutely aware of how quickly time passes. While Julia probably won’t remember these moments when she’s older, I want to intentionally create space for just the two of us—no husband, no distractions, just mother-daughter time.
These outings could be trips to the zoo, museums, parks, or special events. One per month feels manageable while still being meaningful.
Quality time with Tom (12 dates) ❤️
Similarly, I want to prioritize my relationship with my husband. Without family nearby to help with childcare, we’ll need to get creative—this might mean hiring a sitter for evening dates (something we’ve never done before) or planning daytime dates when Julia is at daycare.
When you add kids to the mix of adult responsibilities, it becomes all too easy to neglect your relationship. These monthly dates are my commitment to nurturing our partnership amid the chaos of everyday life.
Nurture relationships with family abroad 🌍
With most of my family in Argentina and my sister in London, maintaining those connections requires intentional effort. I can’t just pop over for dinner or coffee, so I need to find other ways to stay connected despite the physical distance.
I already have a WhatsApp group where I share photos and videos of Julia and updates about our life in NYC. I want to continue and expand these efforts in 2025, making sure my family feels included in our lives even from thousands of miles away.
Finance Goals
Save a specific amount of money 💵
While I’m not sharing the exact figure, increasing my savings is a priority this year. Even though I enjoy traveling, shopping, and dining out, I recognize the importance of financial security and planning for the future.
I’ve fortunately seen my savings grow year after year since moving to the US, but I want to accelerate this growth in 2025.
Friend Goals
Nurture friendships in NYC and Argentina 👯♀️
I have my book club friends here in NYC, who I consider genuine friends even if we’re still building those relationships. And back in Argentina, there are dear friends who made time to see me during my last visit—people who have met Julia and who I maintain regular contact with despite the distance.
In 2025, I want to deepen these connections and watch these friendships continue to grow.
Go on one girls’ trip ✈️
This is something I did occasionally with friends in Argentina but haven’t experienced since moving to the US. Earlier this year, I floated the idea to my book club group, and we’re starting to plan a potential summer getaway. Whether it materializes or remains in our group chat, I’m putting it down as a goal to work toward.
Health Goals
Get in better shape and maintain my ideal weight 💪
After losing weight last year—which improved both my physical and mental health—I want to continue focusing on strength, tone, and overall fitness. I’m aiming to stay within a specific weight range that makes me feel my best.
Run a 10K at a happy and comfortable pace 🏃♀️
This was on my 2024 goals list but didn’t happen since I stopped running toward the end of the year. For 2025, I want to not only achieve the distance but do so at a pace that feels good—not struggling or suffering, but feeling strong and capable.
Work out at least three times per week 🏋️♀️
These workouts can include walks, runs, Pilates, home workouts, or gym sessions—the important thing is staying active. Last year, I noticed I’d either be super active or completely sedentary (sitting and editing for 8+ hours straight).
This year, even on busy days, I’m committing to at least 30 minutes of movement—even if it’s just a quick treadmill session after a long day of editing.
Stay as healthy as possible and do regular checkups 🩺
I’ve already scheduled my yearly checkups with my primary doctor, endocrinologist, OBGYN, and dermatologist. I still need to book my eye doctor appointment, and then I’ll have covered all the bases.
Friendly reminder: Please schedule your annual checkups! I know it can provoke anxiety, but knowledge is power. Knowing where you stand health-wise gives you the information you need to either stay the course or make necessary changes.
Home Goals
Fix clothes that need repairs 🧵
I have several items—pants, a jacket, and a few other pieces—that need minor repairs. They’re simple fixes I can do myself, but I’ve been putting them off for about a year. These clothes aren’t getting worn as often as they could be simply because they’re not in perfect condition.
Sell or donate at least 25 items from our second closet 👚
In our second bedroom, we have a closet filled with items that no longer fit or aren’t being worn. I regularly purge this closet, but I want to be more intentional about it in 2025. Things that aren’t serving us anymore could be helping someone else.
Keep the house tidy with daily and weekly cleaning routines 🧹
I tend to let things pile up until they reach a breaking point, then spend hours on a massive reset. This year, I want to implement daily tidying routines (30-60 minutes) to maintain our space, rather than letting laundry pile up or my desk become cluttered before taking action.
This way, if someone decides to visit unexpectedly, I won’t have to scramble to make the place presentable.
Leisure Goals
Take at least six trips (domestic or international) ✈️
Travel brings me joy and perspective, so I’m prioritizing it in 2025. Six trips throughout the year feels ambitious but achievable.
New Business Goals
Launch a podcast and publish 25 episodes 🎙️
This goal carries over from 2024. I’m aiming for roughly one episode every two weeks, which feels manageable alongside my other commitments.
Launch six products 🛍️
That’s about one new product every two months. I haven’t shared much about this new business venture before, but ideally, I’d love for it to eventually become my primary business, with content creation becoming secondary.
I haven’t made progress on this yet in 2025, but I have a plan and am excited to see it unfold throughout the year.
Personal Goals
Do one new thing each month 🆕
This could be visiting a museum I’ve never been to, collaborating with someone new on a video, taking a class—anything that pushes me out of my comfort zone and introduces novelty into my routine.
Read at least 18 books 📚
I read about 20 books last year, so 18 feels like a reasonable target that still encourages consistent reading.
Practice some form of daily meditation or mindfulness 🧘♀️
This could take many forms—morning pages, breathing exercises, yoga—but the goal is to connect more deeply with my thoughts and create space for reflection instead of constant doing.
Take myself on 12 solo dates 🌸
Just as I’m prioritizing time with my daughter and husband, I also want to nurture my relationship with myself. These solo outings might include visiting a museum alone, enjoying a solitary lunch, or reading in the park.
We sometimes neglect the most important relationship we’ll ever have—the one with ourselves. Since we’re stuck with ourselves for life, it’s worth investing in that relationship and becoming comfortable with our own company.
Final Thoughts
Phew! That’s a lot of goals—31 in total. Some are simple and straightforward, while others will require significant time and effort. But I believe in setting intentions across all areas of life, not just the ones that seem most pressing or practical.
If there’s one thing I hope you take away from this post, it’s this: if you want something different for your life, you need to set clear goals, create systems to support them, and put in the work. Things don’t just happen, and opportunities rarely fall into our laps. Change requires intention and effort.
I’d love to know what goals you’re setting for yourself this year! Share at least one in the comments below, and let’s keep each other accountable as 2025 unfolds.
